Transport Planning & Warehouse Employee (40 hours)
Do you enjoy scheduling, multitasking, and maintaining an overview in a dynamic logistics environment? At Aircargo.nl, we handle worldwide import and export shipments daily from our warehouse near Schiphol, ranging from perishables and pharma to aerospace, pallets, and large machinery. In this varied role, you’ll spend about half your time on transport planning and operational coordination, and the rest supporting daily warehouse activities.
What will you be doing?
- Creating and managing daily transport and route schedules.
- Maintaining contact with drivers, carriers, and colleagues regarding shipment progress.
- Monitoring ongoing transports and promptly identifying deviations or issues.
- Processing and administratively handling shipments in various systems.
- Receiving, inspecting, and registering incoming and outgoing goods.
- Measuring, weighing, and preparing air freight according to applicable procedures.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Supporting daily warehouse operations.
- Managing local deliveries and urgent runs to and around Schiphol.
- Contributing to a safe, efficient, and organized logistics work environment.
What do you bring with you?
- Knows how to take initiative and maintain oversight during busy periods.
- Easily switches between various tasks.
- Has experience in logistics.
- Works independently but also collaborates well.
- Comfortable using systems.
- Service-oriented and flexible.
- Proficient in Dutch and English.
- Holds at least a driver’s license B; license C or CE is a plus.
