Teamleader Operations Import & Export – Air Freight
As Teamleader Operations, you lead the import and export team, coach colleagues, and actively participate in operations. You oversee planning and quality, drive improvements, and ensure shipments are handled flawlessly and on time.
What will you do?
• Lead, coach, and develop the Operations team
• Ensure air freight shipments are handled smoothly and on time
• Monitor planning, set priorities, and step in when needed
• Spot improvement opportunities and make processes more efficient
• Maintain customer contact and ensure administrative accuracy
• Report to the Operations Manager and contribute to team growth
• Coordinate, monitor, and support the AOG Desk
What we ask of you
• At least 3 years of experience in an import/export role within air freight
• At least 1 year of experience in a coordinating or leadership position
• Strong communication skills (Dutch and English)
• Stress-resistant, solution-oriented, and quick to adapt
• A coaching leadership style that motivates your team
• Living within 25 km of Aalsmeer
Nice-to-have
• Experience with AOG shipments
• Experience with process improvement/LEAN and with customs systems or ERP
