Operations Agent Import – Customer Service
Do you have experience in air freight and a passion for customer contact? At Aircargo.nl, you handle import shipments from A to Z and act as the key contact for our customers.
What will you do?
• Coordinate and follow up on import shipments
• Act as the first point of contact for customers (phone and email)
• Liaise with handlers, transport companies, agents, and internal departments
• Prepare and check import documentation and customs formalities
• Handle administration and invoicing
• Support the AOG Desk
• Proactively identify deviations and inform customers
What we ask of you
• At least 2 years of experience in an import and/or customer service role in air freight
• Knowledge of import documentation, customs procedures, and regulations
• Strong communication skills (Dutch and English)
• Customer-focused, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant
• Accurate and able to switch quickly between tasks
• Living within 25 km of Aalsmeer
Nice-to-have
• Experience with AOG shipments
• Experience with customs systems or ERP
